Legginngs and Underwear!!!!!

Hey SewChloe readers!
What's up?! Today I will show you how to make easy pants, leggings, and underwear.  Hope you enjoy!!!

So start by cutting the toe and sole off of a pair of socks. Then, cut a little quarter circle off of the corner. On the same corner, cut up the side. So you should have two open pieces of socks.

Stack the socks right sides together and sew one short edge, but leave the little quarter circle alone.

Hem the top by folding over a quarter inch. Use a zig zag stitch or stretch stitch.

Then, cut a 9 1/2 inch piece of elastic. Sew it right below the hem and stretch it as you go. You need to stretch it so that it goes all the way to the other side. Use a zig zag stitch.

Hem the two little bottoms and fold it over, right sides together. Sew the other small end and again, leave the little quarter circle unsewn.

So then, take the middle of your panties on both sides and open them up. Lay it flat. The side seams should be on the front now.

Sew the crotch and you are done!!

They are great swim shorts!! But they are also briefs or underwear if you want them to be!
Do the same with a pair of leggings or knee socks and make the legs longer. Then you have leggings. I took a pair of gym pants and cut the legs off. I made tall rectangles and cut another crotch. They were the sides of the pants so they have the piping on the side!
